Like Swine Flu, but for dogs
USA Today is reporting that kennels, especially in Florida, Colarado, New York and Pennsylvania, are advising pet owners to get their pets vaccinated for canine influenza virus (CIV), the dog flu. Before boarding your pets for vacations or holidays, the American Veterinary Association recommends the vaccine because, although CIV is rarely fatal, it does spread easily and quickly.
